Before I make any answers to this question I would make a brief reaction to what happen the day we had our Personal Traits test last Wednesday, I was late back then and was nervous because our classmate said we were going to have an exam, I have no idea on what kind of exam our facilitator would give then, it was kind of weird because he wants us to choose on the two sentences of every number, so I was interested to what he was instructing us to do. I answered it truly about me. Then a twist was revealed there was no right or wrong answers but an equivalent score was given to every sentence we preferred to. Luckily I was in the percentage of having a TECHNOPRENEUR attitude yeheey. . then our teacher asked what would be important IQ or EQ there were ones who answered IQ for we will used a lot of IQ if we want to build a new business, but there were ones who said EQ for we will be dealing people in every step of the way, we will be interacting to a lot of people and will need to have good impression to them. Then our teacher said correct, for you to be a technopreneur you’ll need lots of EQ and not IQ to have a good impression to others, will need good PT (Personal Traits) for you to be successful to it, but
What is PERSONAL TRAITS all about . . .?
Personality traits are an individual’s characteristics that make him or her different from other people –pretty much the same way physical features do. These characteristics result from the interaction of innate temperamental tendencies as well as educational and social influences. Personality traits are psychological dimensions that make individuals unique. Basically, they are tendencies that guide behavior and interpersonal relations.
“ There are self-effacing individuals who prefer staying in the background. They are afraid in front of danger and bashful in social situations. They avoid risky ventures that would threaten their personal life. Socially, they keep a low profile that might hide a lack of self-esteem. They humbly comply with the authorities since they prefer to obey than command. ”

Ive taken the test from this site http://www.outofservice.com/bigfive/
Openness to Experience/Intellect
High scorers tend to be original, creative, curious, complex; Low scorers tend to be conventional, down to earth, narrow interests, uncreative.
You are relatively open to new experiences. (Your percentile: 65)
In this part of the test I had a high score which tells I am original, creative, curious, and complex, these part reflects my personality ORIGINAL, I always prefer to have my own than to copy someone because I always see myself as a special one different to other person, sometimes CREATIVE in things and works that I would create or build I prefer it to have an artistic side I really appreciate it when someone gives appreciation to my work, just like what Steven Jobs and Wozniac they always make a point that their work would be appreciated by people. CURIOUS, when I was just a little boy
I always had this attitude of curiosity I ask to many questions to my father like why, how, or what if, I always have questions to ask to my father to the things around me, things that are sometimes too weird to have an appropriate answer. Like how do people come to life and when do people start to live on this planet. But my father would always answer it. COMPLEX, I myself find it too hard to explain my true identity and personalities, sometimes I find myself lonely and blue, sometimes jolly and talkative and sometimes moody. When I was just a little child I had few friends I seldom go outside and play with our neighbors because I’m not the friendly type of person I withdraw on meeting other person that I always stay at home and play by myself with my toys keeping away from crowded people, maybe because I had this attitude of being arrogant sometimes I don’t like my pride to be stepped by other people, but now I am starting to renew myself opening doors to a new life and finding ways and now I find it fun to meet other people and to have conversation to others with their everyday life trying to withdraw myself from my past personalities moving on to what was me before.
Conscientiousness
High scorers tend to be reliable, well-organized, self-disciplined, careful; Low scorers tend to be disorganized, undependable, and negligent.
You probably have a messy desk! (Your percentile: 17)
RELIABLE I myself can’t say I am a reliable person because I always end up on breaking promises or revealing secrets I can’t control myself on many things that would give me problems or lead me into troubles, I am well organized in things that are very important to me I always kept it in order for me to be able to find it, but I have no self-control and discipline I always end up in disaster and sometimes into trouble I find it hard to follow rules and hate routines I always find ways to change some things the way they are, rush and impulsive, I always carry out what my mind says or tells me to do not being careful on what will happen next or what are the consequences of my decisions and actions, but I am an ORGANIZED person I can say that because I hate my things on a mess or when I can’t find my things in its proper places, but sometimes when people misses up my things I get easily discomfort and starts to feel sluggish on organizing it again and if I’m busy, if I can’t make time to arrange my things I get messy a bit so I can say that in this part of the test it reflected my personality too.
Extraversion
High scorers tend to be sociable, friendly, fun loving, talkative; Low scorers tend to be introverted, reserved, inhibited, and quiet.
You tend to shy away from social situations. (Your percentile: 37)
When I was a child I admit that I’m a shy type of person, I am always quite when I was a little boy, always keeping myself away from the crowd and withdrawing myself on interacting to others even playing with our neighbors, I find myself playing alone in my room with my toys and quit at a time. But now I find myself too different from the past I enjoy chit chatting to others making new friends and knowing others different personalities. But I’m not the sociable type either, friendly, YES. Fun loving, of course I really love having fun with my friends, with my love ones bonding with them and laughing with them is never a waste of time. Yes, I am quite very talkative person; I always share my passion and ideas towards things. But still I can’t manage to face other people when the very key to being a successful TECHNOPRENEUR lies in approaching people attentively having this attitude is what I am concern right now to develop for me to be a TECHNOPRENEUR someday.
Agreeableness
High scorers tend to be good natured, sympathetic, forgiving, courteous; Low scorers tend to be critical, rude, harsh, and callous.
You find it easy to criticize others. (Your percentile: 17)
In this part of the result, I was kind of not into this said personality I have because I’m a good natured, I always have pity and soft heart towards others even though it doesn’t shows but through my actions I hope they could see it because I had these attitude of being not a showy type through words but through actions. I always forgive and give second chances to others, I sympathize a lot and consider other peoples mistakes but I always criticize peoples wrong doings because of what they always say but their actions are so different to their words I hate people with that kind of attitude they pretend to be what they are not especially people who are always acting superior like no one can make them fall even if they are so vulnerable.! Like Steven Jobs acting superior when everyone sees his weaknesses.
Neuroticism
High scorers tend to be nervous, high-strung, insecure, worrying; Low scorers tend to be calm, relaxed, secure, and hardy.
You aren't particularly nervous, nor calm. (Your percentile: 43)
My result in here shows, I am not nervous but at the same time not too calm either, will I guess I can relate to it because sometimes I act calm but deep inside my heart trembles and my thinking ability is starting to pump up ideas on what to do to the situation I’m into. Just like Bill Gates have done on pretending on something he has but he doesn’t on proposing to the IBM. I can never imagine myself to one’s shoes on how they could get out to one situation without being calm so I have always practice on being calm at any times making right decisions on what to do before making moves in short planning it safe, would be a better way out when there is nothing left but you’re thinking ability to come up with a good plan..
Iconic Ad slogans like ‘Just Do It’, ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ and its ilk
are slowly and steadily being used by an entirely different variety of
human beings and this particular species are growing by the day in
India. They possess inherent qualities of grit, gumption, passion among
others. This group lives in voluntary isolation and refuse to swim with
the flow, in short THEY ARE REBELS. I hope you would have got it by now.
I’m talking of the band of non-conformist collectively called Entrepreneurs.
file:///E:/TechnopreneurshipGoforIT ITVidya.com.htm
Just like in this part of sentences in the site that I had read the best attitude to be an entrepreneur is to have the personality of a rebel “JUST DO IT” don’t flow with others ideas but instead make your own path of your own ideas taking chances and risk on showing what you can offer to the table of “TECHNOPRENEURSHIP” world. That was the mind set that Randy had imparted on me the first day of class I entered the class room. Don’t just look unto the box but instead think outside the box.
Just like what this phrase says . . .
“…being an entrepreneur is not a personality characteristic, it is a learned skill…An entrepreneur doesn’t seek risk; he or she tries to minimize risk…it’s actually about managing uncertainty. What is teachable is how, given your character, you can live in an entrepreneurial way–as opposed to changing your character.”
–Prof. P. W. Marshall. Entrepreneurship: It Can Be Taught.
Harvard Business School New Business. Winter 2002.
Being a technopreneur is not being caught through your birth but instead it is taught and can be learned by people who has a strong will or spirit on how to deal with risk not to take but to simplify the risk that your going to pass through, who could accept the challenge and improving things that are not within them and willing to accept, change and learn the ways of how to be a successful technopreneur and develop more what are the talents they have and are they cable to go with the flow of the fast changing world of technology its not on what but how you are willing to learn the things just like having a good personality traits towards other people in your everyday life of being a technopreneur.
Overall of the results that I had come up after the test that I have taken, I was not quite to the average to the attitude of a typical TECHNOPRENEUR because as what my facilitator had said to be a “technopreneur” it wont require a large I.Q. or something like a lot of money but a lot of self-confidence, courage and a will of mind that in every step of the way though its going to be though, but bear in mind that there is no problem that has no solutions. Keeping good personal traits may lend you good friends that would be a bug help for you to be able to find shelter in times of rain, you can run to in times of needing advices when you are still starting up a small medium enterprise (MSI) it could add up to your assets as well seeing this makes me feel of a little bit worry for I have a poor traits on making friends to others on having a good personal traits. And I am hoping that in this way, I can renew my attitude and take a step on having the personalities of a successful technopreneur someday.
FOR . . .
"Young minds are very fertile. They are full of energy, with high creativity and know how
to work as a team; we want to encourage some of them to consider entrepreneurship as a career and plan to take the technopreneurship event in different cities of India to create a large pool of young entrepreneurs." Ajay Sanghani of ITVidya.com
I strongly believe in this.
